Many Sci-Fi get their silver screen chance due to how these books can lead to the creation of new worlds. Now, technology allow us to create almost anything, so it's go time for every decent Sci-Fi novel.

Here are 7 books you probably didn't know are gonna be turned into movies:

Cell, by Stephen King


The celebrated horror author now makes a crossover between his favorite genre and technology. In this novel a cellphone (Yes... a cellphone) is capable of killing anyone in it's way. The script is being written by King himself, with director Tom Williams and staring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Divergent Series: Allegiant

The third in four planned movies ending in 2017. Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Miles Teller, Naomi Watts and Octavia Spencer are confirmed for both remaining movies as well as director Robert Schwentke.

How To Talk To Girls At Parties, by Neil Gaiman

How to talk to girls

Based on a short story by Coraline's author, this book is a about a boy that's having a real bad time trying to talk to girls. John Cameron Mitchell will direct while Nicole Kidman, Elle Fanning and Ruth Wilson will be staring.

High-Rise, by J.G. Ballard

Director Ben Wheatley will direct this adaptation on the classic tale of High-Rise. The book follows Dr. Laing while he is lured into a secret community. It stars Tom Hiddleston, Sienna Miller and Jeremy Irons.
